CutGear Studio™ is a browser-based CNC and laser gear generator for makers, woodworkers, laser cutter owners, CNC router users, and small business designers. The tool helps create SVG and DXF gear files for laser cutting, CNC routing, woodworking projects, mechanical toys, rounded fidget gears, and external spur gear trains.

Design laser-ready and CNC-ready gears directly in your browser. Choose a tooth profile, gear teeth, tooth size/module, material thickness, bore or axle hole size, and preview the result in 2D or 3D before exporting.

CutGear Studio supports external spur gears, 1-5 gear trains, rounded fidget gear designs, mounting plate layouts, axle hole spacing, bore holes, dimension guides, SVG export, DXF export, and color-coded laser/CNC linework.

The export system is designed for common maker workflows, including LightBurn, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, CAD/CAM software, laser cutters, diode lasers, CO2 lasers, CNC routers, birch plywood, MDF, acrylic, basswood, solid wood, and other sheet materials.

For fidget designs, the Rounded Fidget Gear profile creates softer rounded tooth shapes for small hand-operated mechanisms, keychains, toy gears, and wooden gear projects where smooth motion and touch-friendly teeth matter.
